Walnut City Council Apparently Tires of Joaquin Lim

Joaquin Lim recently announced his newest campaign for re-election and something was obviously missing:  Fewer friends of Joaquin Lim were present.  His colleagues on the Council were not there to support him.  Lim has seen a obvious erosion of support from the City Council since associating with the group involved in the failed recall of Council Members Mary Su and Nancy Tragarz.  His support for failed anti-stadium activists disguised as City Council candidates also wore out his welcome with the rest of the City Council.

Joaquin Lim was quickly passed over for Mayor Pro Tem in the last Council re-organization.  It looks like Lim has very little chance of being Mayor in the upcoming re-organization.  The Tattler speculates that Lim's hangover statements to reporters did not endear him to the City Council.  City Council members usually do not want to associate with fools in public.

With the election season starting off, we wonder if we will again receive the infamous Christmas Card from an Atheist this year.  Lim usually has a batch of Christmas cards sent out to the voters whenever he runs for office.  The cards may be again printed in China.  Joaquin Lim has often claimed publicly that he is an atheist.  Lim is entitlted to his beliefs, though we wonder if that puts a spin on his moral compass.
